J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit

The Hobbit is one of the most amazing books. This book is amazing because it has more action than most books. Another reason it’s amazing is that it’s not boring than any other books. Finally, the book gives more description. “There is nothing like looking, if you want to find something. You certainly usually find something, if you look, but it is not always quite the something you were after.”  If you are looking for an amazing book, read The Hobbit.

The Undead

The Undead Adventure  (Third Person)

Zach looks out the living-room window and sips at a warm hot cocoa with mini marshmallows, watching the leafs fall out of the trees and lie on the ground like pinecones.  The smell of turkey and toasted pumpkin seeds fill the house.

The wind begins to howl and hail crashes against the window.  Zach can see his friend Roland speed-walking along the sidewalk, the wind blowing hard against his umbrella. The plants start to die and flowers start to warp. The lights come on at his neighbor’s house. A high-pitched scream comes from the backyard.  Roland runs towards the house.

Fall

The leafs

fall out of the trees

and lie on the ground

like pinecones

the wind

blows against your umbrella.

Dogs bark

at the sound of the wind

The taste of green tea

and toasted pumpkin seeds

The smell of turkey

roasting in the oven

the warmth of cocoa

against your top lip

And that’s what fall is about

the smell of food

the taste of drinks

the wind howling

hail crashing

and the sound of rain

hitting against the roof

My Summer #2

The sun was like fire

blazing on your skin

when you walk by the food court

your mouth will water

when you go ride the rides

the metal will burn you from the sun

the rides will go so fast

you will get sick to your stomach

summer is all about having fun

and spending time

with family and with

friends.

Oak Grove History #3

Oak Grove has many buildings.

Long ago there was just water

Oak Grove, there were  trees

bushes, and rocks.

volcanoes that exploded

everything was covered with dried up lava.

trees, bushes, and more plant life.

Years have gone by

there are animals running around and birds singing.

people are living here in Oak Grove

they are building houses and stores.

Oak Grove has less trees now because people here

cut the trees down to build houses and stores.
